Board & Train Programs
Life with your dog shouldn’t feel overwhelming or stressful.
Our Board & Train programs are designed to help create calmer days, clearer communication, and a stronger relationship between you and your dog.
Training takes place in a trainer’s home, where dogs learn through daily routines, structure, and real-life experiences.
We work with a limited number of dogs at a time so each dog receives the attention, structure, and care they need to succeed.
Because every dog is unique, all Board & Train programs begin with a phone consultation so we can talk through your goals and choose the best fit together!
Whether your dog needs structure, reliability, or extra support,
there’s an option below to help!

Advanced Obedience & Real-World Reliability
Best for dogs who:
Know commands but don’t listen once distractions are involved.
This program takes the basics and teaches your dog how to use them in real life — outside the house, around people, and in new environments. For the right dog, this program may also introduce off-leash foundations in safe, appropriate settings.
We work on:
Reliable obedience around distractions
Better leash manners and heeling
Public outings and real-world practice
Staying calm and focused outside the home
Off-leash foundations (when appropriate)
Result:
A dog who listens more consistently, handles the real world with confidence, and may begin working off leash depending on suitability!

Behavior Modification
Best for dogs struggling with:
Reactivity, fearfulness, anxiety, separation-related distress, or behavioral challenges beyond basic obedience.
This program focuses on behavior modification and emotional regulation, not quick fixes. Progress is built through structure, management, and carefully guided exposure.
Training Focus Includes:
Individualized behavior modification plan
Emotional regulation and impulse control
Foundational obedience to support behavior change
Confidence building and stress reduction
Owner education and long-term management strategies
Important Note:
Behavior modification is a process. While improvement is expected, continued consistency and follow-through at home are essential for long-term success!
Program Requirements
To ensure a safe and successful experience for every dog, the following requirements apply to all Board & Train programs:
-
All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, including DHLPP, rabies, bordetella, and canine influenza, and provide a negative fecal test within 30 days of boarding.
If a dog tests positive for intestinal parasites, the start date will need to be rescheduled and a negative retest will be required before boarding.
Vaccine records and fecal results are required prior to your dog’s start date.
-
Dogs participating in Board & Train must be comfortable with crate time. Crating is used for safety, rest, and structure throughout the program and is balanced with training, enrichment, and downtime.
If your dog is not yet crate trained, prep lessons may be recommended prior to the program to help set your dog up for success.
-
Owners are responsible for providing their dog’s regular food for the duration of the stay. Any medications or supplements must be clearly labeled with written instructions.
Sudden diet changes are not made during training unless discussed in advance.
-
Board & Train success depends on owner follow-through. While significant progress is made during the program, continued consistency and practice at home are essential for maintaining results long-term.
